Get Adam West in the next Batman film! [SIGN A PETITION]

A petition has been started by US TV channel MeTV (who airs reruns of the Batman ’66 series) with the sole purpose of getting Adam West a cameo in the next Batman movie. Unless you have been living under a rock you will know that this is the upcoming untitled Superman/Batman film.

Even though the jury it still out on the current man under the cowl, I am sure we would all love to see Adam West return in some capacity. He has fantastic comic timing which we see time and time again and this led to him becoming a reconnaissance man of sort finding further success in recent years with Family Guy.

If that isn’t enough to convince you perhaps you feel his lighthearted nature wouldn’t fit a modern Batman picture, It wouldn’t be the first time he has had a cameo in a modern take on Batman providing his voice to the Gray Ghost in the fantastic 90’s Batman animated series episode “Beware the Gray Ghost” and in the 2000’s providing the voice of the Gotham Mayor in The Batman.  But he hasn’t been in a proper live action interpretation in some time.

There is also the fact that it is pretty well established that Stan Lee will pop up in Marvel movies which people don’t really disagree with since he is seen as Elder Statesman of the house of Ideas. So if Warner Bro’s are really establishing a shared movie universe then why not give their elder statesman a small cameo, after all he regularly represents one of their most well known characters regularly at conventions in spite of being 84.

So enough of the chatter just click this link to sign the petition already!

Oh and remember to spread the word … #WESTISBEST
