The character who Moore created for the America’s Best Comics imprint of Wildstorm will be featured in Tom Strong and the Planet of Peril goes which goes on sale July 31.

Moore as usual wont be attached to this DC project, Taking scripting duties is Peter Hogan and on pencils is Chris Sprouse the original artist of Tom Strong.

Can’t imagine Moore will be pleased with DC utilizing one of his characters but unlike Watchmen which was a self contained story, Tom Strong was created to be serialized.

SYNOPSIS: “It’s the return of Tom Strong — too bad he’s powerless! The lives of his daughter Tesla and her unborn child both hang in the balance, and there’s nothing Tom can do to save them…until he remembers the one thing that just might. To find it, he and Val Var Garm must journey to the far side of the galaxy, and the mysterious world known as…TERRA OBSCURA!”
