The Hollywood Reporter says that Robert Downey Jr. recently met with Kevein Feige and other Marvel Studios executives to start negotiations for his future appearances, specifically for Avengers 2 and a third Avengers movie (a fourth Iron Man movie was not thought to have been discussed).

In an extremely interesting announcement, they revealed that – along with Avengers 2 – the studio has scripts in development for Ms. Marvel and a reboot of the Blade franchise.

Other films in the pipeline, albeit with no hint of a production date, include Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Iron Fist and the Runaways.

Some potentially interesting scenarios on the horizon, then. What do you guys think?
