I read today on the lovely world of the internet that the DC Entertainment Essential Graphic Novels and Chronology 2013 was coming out, and I was looking forward to reading it. 

That is until I read the fact that many of the bigger releases, such as Superman and Batman, were getting a two page spectacular, and the Women of DC are getting a whole two pages for themselves. Yes, all the female characters put into a lovely compact two pages at the back of the book.

I know I go on about female comics a lot on this page, but it really does mean a lot to me, and let’s be honest here, that sucks. I could use ruder language but I won’t. The amazing series of Huntress, and the vast life of Wonder Woman crammed into a paragraph about one comic they’ve been in, whilst Green Arrow, The Flash, and many others, get two pages with a selection of their best story lines on them.
I would really love to see a big two page spread on the best appearances of Wonder Woman, or Catwoman, or Hawkgirl even, instead of two pages at the back.

Okay, I lied, I am sad too.

What does everyone else think, does this grind your gears or are you really not that bothered? I know it’s just a small thing to happen, but it really did annoy me.
