I’ve been a fan of Brian Michael Bendis since I first read Alias. I didn’t pick it up at the time of publication but on the recommendation of several friends I bought the full run on eBay and wow, that might have been the best use of the buy it now option I’ve ever employed. 

I thought his work on Powers and Ultimate Spiderman was utterly superb as well however, I’ve had a few debates with some other friends who have just never been able to get into his writing. In particular they’ve criticised his treatment of the Scarlet Witch and the slow pace of his writing. Whilst I get their points, Its never been enough to put me off.

Age of Ultron though, I’m really not getting into it. Its too convoluted, too slow and too isolated from the rest of the MU to really have a sense of gravitas for me.

Anyway, what do you guys think, Bendis, do you love him or hate him?
