TAPS AFF!!!

This weather’s been pretty decent lately eh? If you happen to be like me you will have taken the opportunity to cook meat over hot coals and read some comics outside in the sunshine with a nice cold beverage (Cherry Coke like a boss!) and a decent playlist on the go for background music.

But enough of how I spent the last few days, this week with the reveal of the next Injustice DLC pack I wanted to talk a bit about my favourite hero and villain costumes and ask which ones you like best yourselves.

To keep it simple for myself I’ve picked my 3 favourite heroes and picked out the best (and worst) outfits they have worn over the years.

Wolverine’s up first and for me It has to be the Uncanny X-Force uniform as his best. He’s a vicious, mean, bad-ass anti-hero and the black and grey outfit seems perfect for a character as “dark” as he is. His worst outfit was the black leather garb they adapted to the comics from the films. It just made him look like a village people reject…….that applied to the whole X team to be fair.

Spider-Man has had a freakin ton of outfit changes over the years but one that I’ve always wanted to see come back was the “Ben Reilly” Spider suit. It was just a freakin cool costume and was pretty prominent in the 90’s when I was beginning to properly get into comics so it’s always stuck in my mind. His worst was the suit he wore when he had the power cosmic. It was just cheesy and lame looking.

Deadpool hasn’t had too many costume changes over the years but his current Marvel NOW suit is a nice little tweak on the original adding a few armoured parts and making him look more militaristic. His worst costume was his Marvel Girl outfit…..for obvious reasons.(I would have picked the X-Men Origins outfit but I’m sticking to the comics here…..and that film can fuck off.)

Honourable mentions are Ultimate Hawkeye with the full mask, House of M Spider-Man, Fantomex just looks boss as fuck in Uncanny X-Force and Batman’s “Beyond” costume.
