This year has already been a big year in comic releases, but I thought I’d give everyone a little insight on what I’m excited for the rest of this year!

• New Harley Quinn Comic:

I know this only got revealed yesterday but I am completely and utterly flipping out about this! I have wanted a new Harley Comic since the old series back in 2003. This is going to be amazing, and so far we know the cover artwork is handled by Amanda Conner who did Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre so you know it’s going to look great, no word on the interior artist. I really want to know where they will start this series, and where they will go with it. It was said that many ex-boyfriends will come into play with it so that sounds interesting. Really cannot wait for a release date for this.

• Justice league 3000:

This comic series looks like its going to be a biggy on my pull list. I love the way that the artists have drawn the heroes in the concept art, it looks amazing. Wonder Woman’s lasso with the Morning Star mace at the end looks like it will be a very deadly addition to her, and Green Lantern’s new look looks very Spectre-esk, but it looks brilliant. I really like this change and really looking forward to see if this darker look reflects in his personality. All in all this is going to be a goodie.

• Forever Evil

This seems like it will blow my mind, even just thinking about it gives me goosebumps! This series will have chomping at the bit for the next issue. With Green Lantern being a woman, and Batman turning evil, I really want to see what they will do with this and as they say, “It’s when the unexpected happens!” This series will start on the 4th of September so look out for it.
