All five of you who read my weekly column will have noticed my absence last week, I had some things needing my attention and didn’t get time to write my weekly column but I’m here this week a whole year older and ready to rant/talk so here we go.

So for anyone who didn’t know, I turned 30 on Friday. It wasn’t as bad as I thought and thus far has been quite a pleasant transition. I haven’t been very active on the page in the last couple of weeks due to being busy elsewhere but it seems that was long enough to be gone that the other admins forgot to feature me in the “BCP Birthday” posts (Greg gets a pass for coming out for banter and presenting me with my awesome BCP T-Shirt) but I am not bitter or anything. I’ll be needing test subjects for my doomsday machine when it’s ready, In all seriousness though I have a freakin ton of new comics to plow through and had a pretty damn awesome weekend.

I have a new laptop now as well thanks to the Mrs, Hopefully I’ll have all my old files transferred over so I can get bsuy with a couple of reviews in the next couple of days (some top secret pdf’s from my friends at SLG are on the old comp) and I’m toying with a couple of ideas for new regular features on the site so stay tuned for more on that later.

It’s comic-con weekend and I’m not there (BOOOO!) but I’ve been trying to catch up on the news that’s been circulating the net.

• Seen there’s talk of an X-Force movie in the works. My thoughts on this are 18/R rating or BOLT!
• Trailer for The Walking Dead Season 4 by the way……OOOOFT!

It’s now less than a month away till my brainchild becomes a reality and we host our first ever BCP Old School Jumble Sale!
Over the next few weeks I’ll be getting the finger out and teasing all the really cool stuff we’ll have there for y’all to get yer grubby paws on. Looking forward to getting the show on the road and bringing something fun to the table.
