Well, there seems to an increasing feeling that the rumoured casting of Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor in the upcoming Superman/Batman movie may actually turn out to be legit!

CosmicBookNews.com is reporting that the deal has been done for a multi-movie deal that may range from between six and ten(!) appearances. Warner Bros apparently want to hold off on the official announcement until the conclusion of the final season of Breaking Bad to hopefully capitalise on the massive popularity of the show.

The other main contender – Mark Strong – was apparently ruled out somewhat due to his previous (and possible future!) appearance as Sinestro.

So, take the announcement how you will, but this is definitely the perfect antidote for the Bat-fleck hysteria if it turns out to be true.
