Okay, so it has been kind of a slow news day, but it looks like we’ll be getting a Superman film in 2014…kind of…

You’ve may or may not have heard about ‘Superman Lives’. It’s the 90’s Superman movie that never was, with Tim Burton attached to direct, Nicolas Cage to play Superman (!), and Kevin Smith even took on the screenplay at one point. The whole thing fell apart, and only seasoned internet-addicted  fans really know anything about it.

Well, director Jon Schnepp has successfully funded a documentary on the failed project via Kickstarter, and it looks like “The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?” is set to hit in the summer of 2014. Although there isn’t much to go by here, this teaser for the film has made it’s way online. We don’t know about you guys, but if Schnepp can get the right people on board with the project, this could be a really interesting little documentary.
