Walking Dead fans rejoice AMC have announced plans to produce a Spinoff/companion series to the smash hit series the Walking Dead.

Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert are all on board as executive producers with a release date of 2015 set.

This is pretty exciting news for fans of the comic/show/zombies in general as we’ll likely be getting a fresh new story set within the world of The Walking Dead OR perhaps even a series based on the best selling Telltale studios game.
