It only occurred to me after picking this one that it was a DnA title, who for the less cool kids, is Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, Cosmic Writers Incarnate.

These two together should be enough for anyone to want to give this book a shot as their writing perfectly encapsulates what made the original Battlestar great, but with the added extra of temporal weapons, alternate universe versions of characters, modified Vipers and my favourite line from a comic this month “FIRE THE CHRONAL CANNON!” .

The Cover is an Alex Ross piece that is exactly what you would expect, it’s gorgeous, ’nuff said. Art duties this time come from Cesar Razek who makes every page pop and gives the book an awesome pace that makes you want to just keep turning.

All in all, this is an awesome book and if you’re a fan of either series, DnA’s previous books or just an old-fashioned Sci-Fi book, you need it in your life.
