After all manner of ‘on again, off again’ rumours, it seems that the long-anticipated Preacher series may finally be in the process of becoming a reality. 

And, in a bit of a shocker, the team behind the pilot appears to be Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, as these tweets from Rogen seem to confirm;

The genre-defying series from Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon has a huge cult following, but there was always a slight concern about just how it could be translated to the screen.  A concern that hasn’t necessarily been allayed by the creative team announcement.
