We all love these new-fangled blank sketch variant covers, right? Get a blank copy of your favourite comic, bring it along to a con or send it off to an artist, and receive a unique one-of-a-kind piece of comic memorabilia. What’s not to like?

Well, it seems that one particular group of fans, headed up by Andrew Kimball, have thought about this new phenomenon and come to a simple conclusion… why should the artists have all the fun?

So armed with a slew of blank variant covers, they have approached several writers and asked them do their worst. And the results are just a little bit awesome.
