The Lex Luthor-a-like and Glaswegian genius Grant Morrison is conjuring up a new series over at Image, it was revealed at this years Image Expo joined by his artist in arms Chris Burnham.

[PAUSE FOR APPROPRIATE FREAKOUT]

With a title like Nameless as you would imagine things are pretty mysterious, All the press release had was the artwork below, But via USAtoday Grant dropped some hints. In an interview about the title he said “”We’re taking all the dark stuff that Western culture’s kind of obsessed with — the zombies and everything — beyond the limit and doing hopefully for now what H.P. Lovecraft did for the wartime generation,”.

The article then goes on to reveal that the series centres around the titular character who is a hyper-intelligent thinker, described as like Sherlock. This explains why we will see him rejoined by his partner on Batman Inc. as Chris Burham will be penciling.

This was underpinned when Grant later said “I got that idea from Batman, him being this high-level thinker and everything for him is important and meaningful.”.

Morrison, Burnham, Lovecraft and Batman vibes… Sounds wild, Count us in. But what do you think?
