Variety are reporting that ‘Girls’ actor Adam Driver is close to agreeing a deal to play an as-yet unnamed villain in the upcoming ‘Star Wars’ movie.

According to Variety, “Exact details are unknown, but the character is said to be in the vein of iconic Star Wars villain Darth Vader,”

More news as we get it, but the film, directed by J.J. Abrams, is set to start shooting in April, so we can probably expect some casting confirmations over the next few weeks
