The Incredibles 2 is officially in the works, with Brad Bird currently working on the story. Bird was at the helm of the first Incredibles movie, which is arguably one of the best superhero films around, so to see him on board for a second outing is definitely a reason to be cheerful.

The film is still obviously in its very early stages, so it may be a while until we hear more, but this is definitely one we’ll be keeping an eye on.
