Yesterday Fox released the first official image of Donald Logue as Harvey Bullock, but we’ve also seen the unofficial photos of Ben Mckenzie and Robin Taylor’s portrayals of Jim Gordon and Oswald Cobblepot respectively.

These new set photos give us a glimpse of Thomas, Martha, and Bruce heading down Crime Alley, as well as Camren Bicondova as a young Selina Kyle.

As you can see, Gotham’s prominent family will have a more contemporary look than Old Hollywood. Batman fans are more than familiar with this origin story, but it’s the inclusion of Selina that’s interesting. The photos of Carmen reveal the Michelle Pfeiffer look alike with the makings of her alter ego. Her attire resembles Jim Lee’s redesign of Catwoman, complete with goggles. It also show us how she likes to spend her nights in the alley ways taking care of strays, which could imply Selina will befriend a traumatized Bruce, that’s how I see it playing out but that’s not official. Her pose suggests she might already possess some fighting skills, which could inspire Bruce to learn to defend himself.

The more I ponder what could be the more excited I get for this property, but it also makes me nervous if they mishandle it. Hopefully NBC will conjure up some set photos from their DC television series Constantine. I’ve said my two cents what are your thoughts. Are you excited to see this origin story again?
