Guardians of The Galaxy fans rejoice. This July, writer Sam Humphries and artist Paco Medina unleash ‘The Legendary Star-Lord’, as hero Peter Quill gets his own ongoing title.

In an interview with MTV, Humphries said the series will spin off from the current arc playing out in ‘Guardians of The Galaxy’, and will include regular appearances from the other Guardians, as well as Kitty Pryde as a supporting character, in a “very strange, only possible in comics long-distance relationship”.

Humphries also added, regarding the overall tone of the book, that it will explore the “outer reaches of the universe from a ground-level perspective. It’s about con jobs, chasing the gold, and settling old scores.”
