Marvel Studios are reportedly courting Prometheus writer Jon Spaihts to script their upcoming Doctor Strange movie.
According to Deadline Hollywood, Spaihts is in line to bring the Master Of The Mystic Arts to life, with Sinister’s Scott Derrickson already confirmed to direct.
Doctor Strange was created in 1963 by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, but his big-screen debut has been in development hell since 1986.
With Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hardy and most recently Jared Leto rumoured to be on the wish list for the lead role, it looks like Marvel might have another classic to add to their ever-growing list of hit adaptations.
