Courtesy of Buzzfeed, Kristen Radtke has put together a fantastic collection of twenty-three sucessful female graphic artists sharing their thoughts (and artwork) as they discuss the representation of the female body in the world of comicbooks.

Boasting an incredibly diverse selection of artists, including the likes of Erika Moen, Hope Larson and Mary Fleener, the contributors adopt some wildly differing approaches towards the female form, making for an intruging and eye-opening read.

So feast your eyes on a few of the excerpts below, then head over to Buzzfeed to read the whole article.  You’ll definitely come away with a different perception of how women are represented in the comic medium.  Or at least, I hope you will.
