We now have answers as to why Fox may be apprehensive about folks seeing just: what is up with their Fantastic Four reboot, yet?
Fox haven’t been very happy about images leaking from the set so far, which have at this point included the alleged Doctor Doom (currently played by Toby Kebbelll) set in which the character has been commented on as looking like a he was wrapped in tin foil and of course the original leak, the infamous one where comic site like ourselves were contacted by Fox’s hellhounds lawyers and their copyright notices (writers note: I find the DMCA notice a sore point, but whatevs.

It just seemed that no matter what, that unlike the MANY superhero or action/adventure movies that are currently slated to go ahead, the team at Fox have thusfar kept tight lipped.
During an interview with comicbook.com, Simon Kinberg, – the man charged screenwriting not just much of the current X-Men properties owned by Fox but also on the upcoming Fantastic Four – is quoted to have said:
“We’re putting it together now, and one of the important things, because this Fantastic Four is a reboot, and is such a different tonality and vibe from those other films, we want to make sure that the first thing we put out really expresses the voice of the movie, and isn’t compromised by not having visual effects ready, or anything like that.“
Which seems as concrete as anything at this moment for that lack of preview material thusfar, baring in mind it is currently slated for release in August of next year.
