At a special press event in LA today, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced – among many others – that a Black Panther film will be released on November 23rd 2017.

Starring in the titular role will be Chadwick Boseman, most recently seen absolutely owning the role of singer James Brown in the biopic Get on up.

We won’t need to wait until 2017 to see Boseman in costume though, as the character will appear in Captain America: Civil War, releasing in May 2016.
