http://cdn.screenrant.com/wp-content/uploads/Dr-Doom-Mask-Art-Marvel-Comics.jpgJosh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot, whilst still almost a year away, has already come in for some fairly heavy criticism, and this latest snippet of news will likely do nothing to quell the hysteria. In an interview with Collider, actor Tony Kebbell has revealed that he won’t in fact be playing Victor Von Doom; rather Victor Domashev, a “very anti-social programmer” who goes by the online handle ‘Doom’ on blogging sites. The full quote can be read below:

“He’s Victor Domashev, not Victor Von Doom in our story.  And I’m sure I’ll be sent to jail for telling you that.  The Doom in ours—I’m a programmer.  Very anti-social programmer.  And on blogging sites I’m “Doom”.”

It’s a controversial change whichever way you slice it, and the news is sure to divide opinion.

So what do you guys think? Refreshing change? Sacrilege? Let us know in the comments!
