The Hollywood Reporter have announced that a new Gotham-style television show will delve into the origins of Superman and the House of El.

SyFy’s Krypton will be Executive Produced by Man of Steel’s David S. Goyer, alongside scriptwriter Ian Goldberg (FlashForward, Once Upon a Time).  According to the article, the show is set to follow the Man of Steel’s grandfather as he “brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known.” 

Not much in terms of dates and characters has been announced yet, but based on the initial blurb, what are you feelings about the potential for this show?  Let us know in the comments.
