An inspirational young girl has captured the heart of TV’s Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter.
Last week, three year old Sophia Sandoval had her last chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with a type of brain tumour called medulloblastoma. To celebrate, the youngster donned the costume of her favourite superhero, proudly holding a sign which read ‘My last day of chemo… It was tough, but I was tougher.”
The pic was shared on the Jessie Rees Foundation Facebook Page, and captured the attention of none other than Lynda Carter, who famously played Wonder Woman in the 1970’s Television show.

Carter shared the photo, calling Sophie “a real life little WW.” …and to be honest, we couldn’t agree more.
Our thoughts and hopes are with Sophie who will undergo a MRI in the next few weeks to find out if her treatment has been a success.
