Suicide Squad director David Ayer has been whipping Twitter into a frenzy with his latest series of tweets, and it all seems to be building to something special.

After describing Leto’s Joker in one word as “majestic”, Ayer dropped the cryptic hint below;

Coincidentally, Jared Leto made a couple of Tweets shortly thereafter, confirming that he had shaved his beard and hinting than the clock was ticking for the next part of his “makeover”.

And, just an hour ago, Ayer Tweeted again, presumably with a pic of Leto, pre-chop…

So the rampant speculation is that yes, we may be given a proper look at Leto’s Joker, sooner rather than later.
