It was announced today by Marvel that wrestler-turned-mixed-martial-artist-turned-comic creator CM Punk will be co-writing a brand new ongoing series based on Guardians of the Galaxy member Drax The Destroyer.  

Coming this winter, ‘Drax’ promises to see the green-skinned warrior travel from the “intergalactic octagon to the reaches of outer space.”

This assignment follows Punk’s writing debut in Marvel’s recent Thor annual. His co-writer and the artist of the series is expected to be announced shortly.
