The first official image from director David Ayer’s Suicide Squad featured Jared Leto as the Clown Prince of Crime A.K.A. The Joker. Set photos revealed Will Smith as Floyd Lawton (Deadshot) sporting what could only be described as his Wild Wild West costume. Recently set photos surfaced of Ben Affleck as dressed as Batman on set. Now Ayer gives us our first look at Task Force X otherwise known as the Suicide Squad.

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have been testing the out the waters with these “loveable” villains. First appearing on The CW’s Arrow then showing up in their own animated feature film. The positive outcry from fans has led to them getting their own live-action movie tentatively scheduled for August 5, 2016.

The photo shows the notorious villains in front of a sign welcoming them to ‘Belle Reve’, a reference to the maximum security prison that the squad calls home.

From left to right: Adam Beach (Slipknot), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Karen Fukuhara (Katana), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg) Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Will Smith (Deadshot), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc) and Jay Hernandez (El Diablo).

Obviously Jared Leto’s Joker is missing from the photo, we can assume he won’t be a part of the actual team, which gives some credit to the rumors that his character will appear in the film in a different capacity. Last but certainly not least is Viola Davis playing A.R.G.U.S. Commander and handler of Task Force X Amanda “The Wall” Waller. Although she is absent from the photo, her presence can be felt seeing as the group has been assembled.
