Supergirl pilot leaked!
An HD-quality copy of CBS’ upcoming Supergirl pilot leaked onto file-sharing sites earlier today.
Variety have revealed that, despite not being scheduled to air until November, the pilot episode is out there already, reporting:
“The episode is available in up to 1080p HD format and does not contain any evident watermarks, according to piracy-tracking firm Excipio.
The first copies appeared shortly before 3 a.m. ET Friday, according to the firm. As of about 9:30 a.m. ET, the Supergirl pilot had been downloaded more than 120,000 times worldwide, per Excipio.”
Whether this is a deliberate leak as part of a marketing campaign or an absolute howler is unclear, with CBS refusing to comment.

I caved in and watched this, and it was ok. Normally my comic book OCD would kick in and I’d start raging at the TV over all the things that have been changed, but acceptance of Arrow, and then The Flash has cooled that reaction. Will I watch this? Probably, but only casually. I’ll tell you though, it’s genius marketing, there will be scores of young girls watching this with there dad religiously, it’s a very clever move from CBS.
