Deadline are reporting that Jason Aaron and Jason Latour’s critically acclaimed Image Comics series Southern Bastards has been optioned and is to be developed as a one-hour drama at FX.

Not much in the way of concrete details have been released yet, but it has been confirmed that both Aaron and Latour will serve as Executive Producers on the series.

Fantastic news for fans of the comic, of which we have many here in our BCP review team ranks – including Chris, who gave a glowing five-star review to the just-released issue #9.
