This is Loot Crate’s second ‘sequel crate’, and boy it is a good one. Following on from responses to their post delivery surveys, this crate is slightly different, in that it has fewer items overall but they are of higher value.
If this how the crates are going to be going forward then I’m very happy (as will my fiancee be, due to the lack of available space). While the crates are smaller you definitely don’t feel cheated as the contents are pretty much “all killer no filler”.
So what was in this months crate?

– A Los Pollos Hermanos apron (Breaking Bad)
– Wooden Joker figure
– Venom 3D molded mug (some people got Carnage)
– A replica of a Hydra pin from the MCU
This is the first crate in which my fiancee has actually said “mine!” as I opened the crate, grabbing the apron. She has even commented on the high quality of the apron. The mug has a decent storage volume and looks great with Venom’s tongue forming the handle. I would love to use it in work but I don’t think the boss would appreciate it.
In my opinion the worst item, if I have to pick one, is the wooden Joker. The only reason for this is that I like it the least out of everything. The best item, as if you haven’t already guessed, is the Hydra pin. It is recreated from the original digital files and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It feels like if came straight off the set and has a good weight to it. It also creates a nice set with the SHIELD pass from a previous crate.
I really hope that Loot Crate continue on this path, albeit with the occasional t-shirt, as I really feel I’m getting value for money as opposed to some of the previous crates that had a lot of filler.
Overall Score: 4/5
