Fox’s Gambit movie finds it’s Belladonna Boudreaux!
Léa Seydoux has been reportedly been offered the role of Channing Tatum’s ‘Chere’ Belladonna Boudreaux, aka Bella, in Fox’s next upcoming X-Men spin-off Gambit.
According to Deadline, both the studio and director Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) had a shortlist with Seydoux, Mad Max: Fury Road‘s Abbey Lee and Rebecca Ferguson of this summer’s Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.
Seydoux is now set to take the role of Bella, Gambit’s childhood romance and head of the Assassins Guild. The French actress has had a string of success recently, with Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Cannes favourite Blue is the Warmest Color and Sam Mendes’ 007 sequel Spectre to name a few.
Gambit is set to open October 7th 2016.
