While the characters involvement hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, a new photo courtesy of ET from the set of AMC’s The Walking Dead seems to be reveal a familiar face to fans of Robert Kirkman’s Image Comics series.

The photo seems to show the familiar beard and beanie of Paul “Jesus” Monroe, the gay fan-favourite ass-kicking machine from the comic books.  Check out the images below to see the striking similarities

Kirkman has spoken loudly in the past about Jesus being one of his favourite characters, so it was surely only a matter of time before he made his television debut.

Whether it’s a coincidence or not, we can expect to get some answers when the sixth season of The Walking Dead debuts with a 90-minute episode Oct. 11 on AMC.
