The first teaser trailer that was released to promote Marvel’s Jessica Jones was brief and animated, showing only a taster of the show with no real footage, it felt similar to the opening to Netflix’s Daredevil series’ opening and perhaps it may be part of that for this show.

However a new trailer has surfaced on-line which shows some of the fist actual footage from the show.

Though the clip is also just a taster and brief in detail, we can see that Jones (Krysten Ritter) is waking up, extremely groggy and perhaps suffering from a hangover (with bottles of bourbon sprinkled around her room). She is also shown to be super strong, both of these details are in-line with her comic iteration where she is an alcoholic with a varied powerset.

The official synopsis for Marvel’s Jessica Jones is as follows;

After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.

The series stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, David Tennant as Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker, and Carrie-Anne Moss. “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (“Twilight”, “Dexter”) and Liz Friedman (“Elementary”), along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Smallville,” “Heroes”), who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.

The whole season will hit Netflix on the 20th of November.
