Courtesy of the Ben Templesmith & Squid Friends Facebook Page, we’ve learned that – starting on Thursday – Templesmith will be releasing a free webcomic entitled “Blackholers”.

Ben describes it thusly;

“It’s little bit spacey, a little revengey (ies I know these aren’t real words! ) It’s a little bit Wormwood/black humour and really just a whole lot of things I like thrown into one to have fun with. A story about a woman who’s fought to survive her entire life, savage aliens who took her eyes she wants some payback with, and a whole lot of galactic politics. And of course, SQUID.”

Templesmith is currently aiming to put out two pages a week, with updates on Mondays and Thursdays, and the webcomic can be found at www.theblackholers.com.

However, Ben has also decided to dip into the world of Patreon at www.patreon.com/templesmith to enable his backers to see the pages a little earlier, along with other special goodies to be confirmed.

We’ve been massive fans of Templesmith’s work for years here on the Big Comic Page, so this is a thrilling announcement for us, and – to be honest – any opportunity to see more of Ben’s wonderfully grotesque artwork is always a good thing in our book.
