Whedon, Sale, Steranko and more to celebrate Cap’s 75th Anniversary in CAPTAIN AMERICA: SAM WILSON #7!

Later this month, as a celebration of Captain America’s inception all the way back in 1941, a creative all-star team are set to combine for an oversized 80-page issue of CAPTAIN AMERICA: SAM WILSON #7.

Firstly, current series creative team Nick Spencer and Daniel Acuna will bring us a cataclysmic tie-in to AVENGERS: STANDOFF which sees Steve Rogers being asked to pick up the shield once more, paving the way for his upcoming return in CAPTAIN AMERICA: STEVE ROGERS #1.

But that’s not all, as the issue will also feature Tim Sale taking us deep behind enemy lines as Cap embarks upon a dangerous infiltration mission, Greg Rucka and Mike Perkins bringing us a team-up between Captain America and Black Widow, and Joss Whedon and John Cassaday reuniting for the first time since their acclaimed Astonishing X-Men run to chronicle the history of Cap’s greatest weapon!

The release will also feature a plethora of variant covers from the likes of Alex Ross, John Cassady, Chris Sprouse and the legendary Jim Steranko!
