Magneto goes to war with the Inhumans in CIVIL WAR II: X-MEN #1!
Marvel have released their first look inside next month’s Civil War II: X-Men #1, from writer Cullen Bunn (Uncanny X-Men) and artist Andrea Broccardo (Kanan: The Last Padawan).
As we know, Civil War II is based around the introduction of Ulysses, a new Inhuman with the ability to profile the future, prompting the Marvel Universe to choose sides as they decide whether to use these powers or to leave the future as it is.
However, Magneto has a slightly different take on things. Fearing that this untapped power may tip the scales in the Inhumans’ favor, the Master of Magnetism is willing to wage war with the Inhumans – and even his own kind – to prevent that from coming to pass!
You can feast your eyes on some of Broccardo’s artwork below, alongside David Yardin’s main cover and variants from Greg Land, Phil Noto and – of course – Skottie Young.
Civil War II: X-Men #1 (of 4) goes on sale June 15th.
