Tired of the same old ironic postmodern revisionist millennial fairy story? Want completely demented anti-Disney antics that will make you laugh till you want to hit something with an axe? Then this is the comic for you – and if not, why the fudge not?!
Gertie, our… Let’s say heroine, OK? Probably safest… has been stuck in fairyland for 30 years, in the same cute as key lime pie little girl body all that time. Having accidentally murderised her way to the throne (as opposed to the normal, deliberate, everyday murderising) she’s now trying to find a whole other way out this time – by being Good. Oh, the horror. And yeah, that ends in all the candy coloured carnage you can imagine. It’s glorious, bonkers, and asks existential questions about dragon wizz.
Go get this, laugh till your eyes bleed cola pips, and learn to hate Fairyland too.
Rating: 4/5.
