Calvin & Hobbes get the Sin City Treatment in Action Lab’s SPENCER & LOCKE!

“What if Calvin & Hobbes grew up in Sin City?”

That’s the question being asked – kind of – in SPENCER & LOCKE, a brand new four-part crime thriller from Action Lab Entertainment’s “Danger Zone” imprint, set to hit shelves and digital devices in March 2017.

Written by David Pepose, with artwork by Jorge Santiago Jr and Jasen Smith, and lettering from Scotland’s own Colin Bell, the series follows Detective Locke as he returns to the scene of his childhood when his grade-school sweetheart Sophie is found dead in a grimy back alley.  However, when his investigation starts to dredge up menacing figures from his traumatic past, there’s only one person he can trust to help him close the case — his imaginary childhood panther friend, Spencer.

You can feast your eyes on the video trailer – and some of the preview artwork – below, and make sure to follow SPENCER & LOCKE on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr for the latest news, and join in on the conversation using the hashtag #spencerandlocke.
