This December sees the release of SUPERGIRL: BEING SUPER, from Caldecott Honor-winning and Eisner Award-winning writer Mariko Tamaki (This One Summer) and Eisner Award-nominated artist Joëlle Jones (Lady Killer).

The series will also feature the work of Sandu Florea (inker), Kelly Fitzpatrick (colorist), and Saida Temofonte (letterer).

Promising a coming-of-age tale like you’ve never seen before, the release will see Kara going through some growing pains while deadly earthquake rocks the small town of Midvale beneath her feet, leaving the Girl of Steel with a choice: let her world die, or overcome her adolescent insecurities and be super!

The retailer FOC for this one is Monday November 21st, so make sure to let your local comic shop know that you want to get your hands on it.  But if you can’t wait until December 28th when it goes on sale, you can feast your eyes on some of the gorgeous preview artwork below.
