After a fairly lukewarm (at best) response to the early promo images and footage, Marvel seemed intent on raising their game as they released a brand new Inhumans trailer as part of the show’s panel this weekend at SDCC.

The new trailer featured a little more FX (including Medusa’s much-maligned hair in action), and dug a little deeper into the conflict between Black Bolt (Anson Mount) and his brother Maximus (Iwan Rheon).

Inhumans will debut in IMAX theaters on September 1st, and the series will hit ABC on September 29th.
