Fresh out of New York Toy Fair and first reported by io9, it has been confirmed that Hasbro are giving us the ’80s mash-up we’ve all being waiting for as the worlds of Transformers and Ghostbusters collide with a brand new GB-themed Transformer!
The gloriously named Ectotron will transform from Ecto-1 to a hulking Transformer – complete with Proton Pack for bustin’ ghosts – and back in about 22 steps.
Oh, and if that isn’t enough, he also comes packaged with a (non-transforming) Slimer, so he at least has a ghost to bust right of the box.
The GameStop exclusive figure goes on sale in early June, priced $40.
