Sony’s Venom Sequel gets New Release Date and Official Title
Sony have announced that their upcoming Venom sequel is being pushed back to a June 2021 release date, with the official title being confirmed as Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
The sequel, starring Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson, was originally set for an October 202 release, but has been pushed back due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.
Despite some mixed reviews, Venom performed remarkably well at the box office, bringing in over $856 million worldwide and making its sequel all but inevitable.
In another interesting note, the new release date of June 25th is only a month before the upcoming untitled Spider-Man movie, which will hit theatres on July 16th 2021.
