Via Netflix Geeked, the release date for the upcoming Masters of the Universe: Revolution series – a sequel to 2021’s Revelation – has been confirmed. The new series will hit the popular streaming platform on the 25th of January 2024.
Not a huge amount is known about the new series, other than the fact that it promises to feature the arrival of Hordak (voiced by Emmy Award winner, Keith David), and will feature Mark Hamill and Chris Wood reprising their roles as Skeletor and He-Man respectively. Melissa Benoist has also been brought in to take over voice duties for Teela from Sarah Michelle Gellar, and William Shatner will star in an as-yet unnamed role (widely suspected to be Zodak.)
Expect more details in the weeks to come, as the hype machine is already starting to build momentum with Netflix also dropping a “first look” teaser showing He-Man and Scare Glow going toe-to-toe a couple of weeks ago.
