Duke Cover A by Tom Reilly

Skybound and Image Comics have just revealed new interior pages and variant covers for Duke from writer Joshua Williamson, artist Tom Reilly, and colorist Jordie Bellaire, on sale at the end of February 2024.

Here’s the solicitation blurb:

Codename: G.I. JOE continues! Duke’s search for answers has led him to a classified holding site for the America’s most dangerous prisoners including the enigmatic Baroness. Now he’s the most wanted man in the world. Unfortunately, everyone seems to prefer him DEAD over ALIVE.

The first of four action-packed G.I. JOE miniseries that introduce the iconic characters of the G.I. JOE and Cobra factions to the Energon Universe, Duke is running concurrently with Cobra Commander from writer Joshua Williamson, artist Andrea Milana (Impact Winter: Rook) and colorist Annalisa Leoni (Oblivion Song). These miniseries promise to set the stage for a fresh new take on G.I. JOE, Cobra and the iconic characters that you only think you know in a shared universe with TRANSFORMERS and Void Rivals!

I recently reviewed issue two of Duke, and with the intriguing addition of the Baroness to the proceedings, this series looks to be going from strength to strength, much like the Energon Universe as a whole.

Featuring a plethora of variant covers from a selection of all-star artistic talent, Duke (of 5) will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024.
