The Power Rangers celebrated their 30th anniversary last year, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles celebrate their 40th anniversary this year. However, these two massive worlds collided in 2022 when BOOM! Studios announced the crossover comic book event featuring the two-color coded franchises.

As fate would have it, Amy Jo Johnson and Kevin Eastman met that same year in Belgium at Brussels Comic Con. Johnson nervously asked Eastman if he would do a cover for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return, knowing Matt Hotson (her co-writer/boyfriend) is a massive TMNT fan.

Fast forward to 2024, Johnson and Hotson return to the world of the Power Rangers to tell a sort of “What if” story. The concept: what if the original ranger team never split up?

To celebrate the conclusion of the four-part miniseries Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return, writing duo Johnson and Hotson have teased their exclusive variant cover. It will be the ONLY cover to feature an original character created by Johnson and Hotson in that “classic Eastman Style!”

Sneak peek!

To avoid spoilers, the full cover reveal will take place on the release date of the fourth and final issue (May 29, 2024).

The exclusive cover will be available in two formats at [Amy Jo’s Store](https://amyjojohnson.com/ajj-shop):

·  The virgin foil cover will be $100 USD. All orders will be autographed by Amy Jo and individually numbered limited to 250 copies.

·  The regular cover will be $75 USD. All orders will also be autographed by Amy Jo and individually numbered limited to 250 copies.
