With Funko recently announcing that they’re making the leap to video games later this year with Funko Fusion, it was only to be expected that they supplement that with a new line of collectibles, each of which contains codes that are redeemable for in-game goodies. The first wave will feature some of the franchises that are included in the game, from Back to the Future to The Walking Dead to Hot Fuzz, but perhaps most excitingly for Masters of the Universe fans is that we’ll be getting two (technically three) brand-new POP-style figures!

Fans can pick up a new He-Man figure in his fairly iconic pose with lightning striking the Sword of Power and a fairly cool Grayskull-esque base:

That’s not all though. Because in an exciting bonus/cynical cash grab (delete where appropriate), people ordering the figure will have a one-in-six change of receiving an “Eddie-fied” Chase Variant, which also looks rather awesome:

It’s not quite clear yet what “Eddie-fied” means (or even who Eddie is), but given the fact that other announced figures are being given the same treatment, including the Jurassic Park Indominus Rex, expect all to be revealed when the Funko Fusion game finally goes on sale later this year.

Fans will also be able to pick up the fantastic looking Scare Glow atop his frightening “Scare Mare”:

Much like He-Man, the 6.2″ tall Scare Glow will feature a redeemable in-game code, but unlike the Most Powerful Man in the Universe, there’s no variant for this character.

With the Funko POP! He-Man line all but dying out in recent years, it’s great to see some new additions on the way, and these ones look particularly well-crafted.  I’m not sure the redeemable code itself will be much of a dealbreaker for people, but MOTU fans are likely to be snapping these bad boys right up.
