LEGO has unveiled the latest of their Lord of the Rings sets in the form of Minas Tirith, and it’s by far the biggest LotR set so far, clocking in at a whopping 8278 pieces.

Set for release on the 4th of June 2026 (or the 1st of June if you’re a LEGO Insider – and there’s no reason not to be), the set has a price point of $649.99, and stands as the fourth biggest set LEGO have produced so far, after their Eiffel Tower, Titanic, and Death Star sets.

It comes with a solid selection of minifigures, including Gandalf the White, Aragorn as King Elessar, Faramir, Denethor, Peregrin Took, Arwen and four Soldiers of Gondor.

Standing over 23.5 inches (59cm) high, 24.5 inches (62 cm) wide, and 14.5 inches (37 cm) deep, this will make a stunning centrepiece to anyone’s LotR LEGO collection, providing the eye-watering price point doesn’t put you off.

Oh, and as a bonus, if you sign up as a LEGO Insider before buying this set, you’ll get a free gift with purchase in the form of Grond (as in “Grond! Grond! Grond!”), although supplies are limited and tend to sell out in ridiculously short order, so you’ll need to be fast.
