So the first arc is over and it was spectacular. Rucka has created a world here that is equal parts femme fatale, sci-fi and mafia thriller making it a fantastic, well paced read that leaves you begging for more.

With Michael Lark on art duties who’s style is similar to the likes of Sean Phillips and David Aja is gorgeous. It’s nice to see a female lead not drawn with pneumatic chebs and a model’s physique, Eve looks like she could handle herself, but doesn’t look inhuman.

One of my favourite features of the book though is the extra material, beginning with #2 there has been a timeline printed at the end of he book giving info on the world before the series and a nice added bit where Rucka lets the reader into the real science behind the book

Rating: 9/10.
